Sherwin Law continues the Law Practice of C.A. Sherwin, begun in 1996. Claire is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School at York University having received a Master of Laws post-graduate degree with concentration in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Mediation)
He was called to the Bar and admitted to practice in the Province of Ontario in 1996, following graduation from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta.
Previous to his legal education, Claire completed an under-gradute degree at the University of Alberta in the School of Native Studies and a diploma program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario.
Since 1996, Claire has lived and practiced Law in St. Marys. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of St. Marys and is a past-president of that club. Previously, he served as the Chair of the Rotary Youth Exchange Program in District 6330 which includes 61 different clubs from Tobermory, Ontario to St. Clair, Michigan. He is a past-Chair of the Board at St. Marys United Church, past-Chair of Student Legal Services at the Universtiy of Alberta and a former board member of Crime Stoppers of Northern Alberta.
